Recently, our polyacrylamide products (from Henan Saifu New Materials Co., Ltd.) were successfully applied to the wastewater treatment project of a large-scale dyeing and printing factory in Zhejiang. After three months of stable operation, not only did we help the client achieve 100% compliance with wastewater discharge standards, but also directly reduced the comprehensive water treatment cost by 30%, earning high recognition from the client.
This dyeing and printing factory mainly produces various cotton, linen, and chemical fiber fabrics, generating about 5,000 tons of industrial wastewater daily. The water contains a large amount of dye residues, fiber suspensions, and chemical auxiliaries. The color intensity is over 500 times, and the suspended solids content exceeds 300mg/L. After understanding the client's pain points, our technical team rushed to the site immediately and conducted continuous three-day sampling and testing of the dyeing and printing wastewater, analyzing the key parameters such as the composition of pollutants, pH value, and temperature in detail. Based on the test results, we customized a cationic PAM product with a molecular weight of 18 million for the client. This product optimized the molecular structure according to the characteristics of the dyeing and printing wastewater, enabling rapid formation of dense flocs with pollutants, improving the sedimentation speed and dewatering efficiency.
After the client's trial use, they reported that within just 10 minutes after adding the drug, the wastewater in the sedimentation tank clearly stratified, and the transparency of the upper clear water significantly improved, with the color intensity rapidly dropping below 50 times. After treatment by the filter press, the sludge moisture content steadily decreased from the original 85% to below 60%, and the sludge volume directly reduced by nearly half. Not only that, due to the high flocculation efficiency of the product, the PAM dosage per unit water volume decreased by 25% compared to before. Coupled with the reduction in sludge disposal costs, the comprehensive calculation showed that the client's monthly water treatment cost was saved by 45,000 yuan, and the annual savings reached 540,000 CNY.
